Windows 10: Restoring Windows to a drive that already has windows?

Sorry for question wording. I have windows on an old SSD but the laptop it was on pooped out motherboard issue. Got a desktop computer, it has windows 10 on the hard drive already. Tried swapping the drives, windows 10 wouldn't boot on SSD. I have both in now, how can I restore the Windows 10 I had on my old laptop I have the registration key and make that the primary drive to boot? I also plan on wiping the hard drive when I'm done, but I don't want to lose any files on SSD.

Windows XP PRO error after restore

System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
