    Our Client requirement in emergency basis to restrict the users in taking screen shot using snip & sketch screen snip from windows10 new build version. We need to configure through gpo. Please let me know the steps to do the same.a

    Hi Peter,

    Unfortunately, this approach doesn't work for Snip&Sketch - utility's process runs as a system service and GPO with "User Configuration..." can't shut it down.

    How to remove Screen snip quick action from Notifications and action center by GPO or registry or script

    My main goal is to restrict all of my users from taking screen shots. All of my system is under Active Directory Domain Controller.
    I was able to uninstall the "Snip & Sketch" app by running the following Power Shell command: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.ScreenSketch -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage
    But uninstalling "Snip & Sketch" and also restricting "Snipping tool" by GPO does not help restricting users from taking snip by using the quick action "Screen snip"
    Any kind of help removing "Screen snip" quick action entirely from the windows 10 Pro will be highly appreciable.

    Thank you for updating me that information. If you mean the snip and sketch? Based on your description the snipping tool is crashing?

    Please try to reset Snip and Sketch

    Press Start then search Apps and Features

    Select Snip and Sketch on the list

    Click Terminate then Reset

    If it doesn't work, Please try to create a new administrator account then check if everything is working.
