Windows 10: Retrieve recovery key

My DELL work Laptop was repaired under warranty to fix blackout. Now he says we should have a Recovery Key. No one in the office knows it or how to retrieve it.

BitLocker recovery key

My computer is locked by BitLocker and the recovery key is not showing in the Microsoft account (the device is listed). How can I generate/retrieve the key (I don't have it stored anywhere)?

 

retrieve reset protection recovery key

I had reset my phone and now it is asking for a reset protection recovery key... I do not know the key please help on how to retrieve it

We understand your concern as the PC is locked with BitLocker and you are unable to retrieve the BitLocker Recovery key from your Microsoft account.



In this situation, we would first suggest you to set the PC to default BIOS settings.



If you still get the option for BitLocker recovery key, then we would suggest you to refer the below article for managing the security info on your Microsoft account and later retrieve the recovery key.
