I have installed Word perfect 2021 in windows 10 64-bit, I am getting below error when I run the applicationRetrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {3D24361A-2978-41AD-ABBB-F58C012DCD9B} failed due to the following error: 80080005 Server execution failed Exception from HRESULT: 0x80080005 CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURECan anyone help with the solution to this error ?****Moved from: Windows\Windows 10\Install & Upgrade****

Event ID 10016, CLSID and APPID

Hey, I've been trying to resolve this same dcom issue myself, and I followed the steps you listed @FreeBooter, but when I try to do the last step, I firstly when clicking "edit" get a message saying



And then when I do enter the menu after clicking "ok" on that dialog box, the add button is greyed out.

I'm 100% certain I followed all the steps correctly. I triple-checked it. But no dice...

I am finishing up a stop motion for a school project and when it came time to export, it gave me this message:

Error in exporting project Retrieving the COM class factory component with CLSID {00161064-B1BA-11CE-ABC6-F5C2E79D9E3F} failed due to the following error: 8007007e

If you can please help ASAP, this is a time sensitive problem.

 

Issue installing software due to CLSID error CLSID {4991D34B-80A1-4291-83B6-3328366B9097}

Hi. I am a flight sim enthusiast who uses Orbx Direct scenery for Prepar3D. (flight sim nerd here.)

I recently did a reinstall of windows 10 professional and am also trying to install an Orbx tool called FTX Central, which is used to remotely download and install scenery into the sim. this is payware high
end stuff and they have a proprietary tool to install the software. The FTXC tool fails on installation because of an error below:

We were unable to start the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS). This is used to download large files in FTX Central. It must be enabled for FTX Centrals download functionality to work.

When you click "OK", your web browser will open with instructions on how to re-enable BITS.

The error we received was: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with

CLSID {4991D34B-80A1-4291-83B6-3328366B9097} failed due to the following error: 80070005 Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT:0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)).

Try as they might, the Orbx guys havent been able to help me yet. I am wondering if you can give comment in specific to the CLSID and the error message. I am thinking this is something local to my PC and
perhaps not the software per se. FYI, I have looked at services.msc and I have insured that BITS is turned on. I still get this error...
