  1. Return processing time

    Hello,

I placed a surface pro 7 order from Microsoft Store and received the device on May 20th. I initiated the return process on the same day and physically shipped through UPS on May 21st. The device was returned back to Microsoft on May 29th, but the refund was still pending. Why is it taking so long for the refund to go through? I have talked to several customer supports, and they are not very helpful. Besides, it is confusing for me to find the right customer representative to handle my case. I have made trial-and-error approaches to find the correct customer support for order related issues.

    :)

  3. processing time requests does not work

    • When did the issue start?
    months ago

    • Did you make any account setting changes to the main PC or on the other PCs?
no, all my kids are standard users, I am the administrator, this has not changed.

    • Are you getting any error messages?
no, it says it has applied the time, but of course hasn't

    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

I have run all the troubleshooters.
The usual suggestion I am given is to remove all my kids from my family and add them again. But I am a bit fedup of having to constantly keep doing this when family safety breaks, which it does a lot.

    • What is the current version and build number of the Windows 10 PCs?

    mine

    1703

    15063.483

    kids

    1607

    14393.1480

    1607

    Return processing time

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Return processing time :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
