Revert to factory condition after installation of WIN 10

Is it possible to still revert a PC to the original factory condition using the factory restore partition after Windows 10 has been installed or does the installation of WIN 10 prevent that? None of the other options to do a restore back to the original WIN 7 (as purchased new) are available to me.

    :)

Reverting from Win 10 back to Win. 7 get black screen, can't re-install Win 7 even with CD

Tried to press 0 (Toshiba) to revert to factory condition, but remembered I had put in a new formatted 1T HDD in before Win. 7 was installed... After Win 10 install, system not stable, trying to revert back to the Win. 7, but get nothing but a black screen,
and the Win. 7 won't reinstall, even from the CD...have gone into bios to boot from CD, no help...still black screen.

What can I do? Must I reformat HD and lose everything? (drivers, etc)

How to remove my Windows account in Windows 10

Does it reset to the most current "Factory Condition" running windows 10 without any bloatware or will it revert to the original windows 7 factory condition when new?

It would depend if you still had original recoivery partition, and could access it.

Post an image of your disk partitions and model of pc etc.

Also, do you have the COA key usually on base of pc on blure sticker?

The PC is a Lenovo ideacentre B310 which originally had WIN7 Home Premium and has the COA on it. I have attached a Disk Management image.

Doesn't the Lenovo model have a little recessed button on the side or back that you push to Revert the system to Factory original? The 2 that I had did but they were notebooks.

It seems you still have the Recovery partition and the OEM partition. the Recovery partition will start the computer and then reinstall everything as Shipped From Factory from the OEM partition.

Even if it doesn't have one of those Reset buttons you should still be able to do that from the UEFI/BIOS screens.

If you cannot get it working, you can download an iso from here, create a bootable usb stick, and activatr using COA key.

I have found a recessed button on the back but it doesn't seem to do anything. I assume you would hold it pressed in during boot? Went into BIOS but again cannot find any option to boot to recovery. Any further help here appreciated.

Could you possibly give me instructions as to how to use these downloads. Not all that familiar with this type of thing.

No luck I'm afraid. According to the instructions all you should need to do is tap F2 during boot but Windows 10 seems to have prevented that from being possible.

Is there any other way of making the PC boot direct from the recovery partition or somehow copy the recovery partition to a memory stick or DVD and boot from that?

Are you using a Wireless keyboard? If you are try connecting a USB keyboard and try again. Don't just hold down the F2 function key. Press/Tap and Release multiple times as soon as you press the power button.

I believe that is the same way you get to the UEFI/BIOS settings for that system. I didn't read the whole manual but on Dell computers F2 brings up a One Time Boot Menu screen and the F12 key brings up a screen when you can enter the BIOS/EFI or do other things.

Also how are your Function keys assigned? You might also have to hold down the FN key and press/Tap the F2 key. But I'd connect a Wired keyboard first. The Wireless key might not get activated until after the Basic Input Output System (BIOS) finishes checking all the hardware connected to the system.

Thank you - It is a wired keyboard and the applicable F keys work to get into BIOS or Boot but not F2 to get into any recovery environment. The BIOS does not contain any option to then subsequently get into any recovery environment. I am beginning to think that installing WIN 10 may have deleted the functionality of accessing the original recovery partition so looking for a work around to access and use it some other way provided it still contains all the relevant data / instructions.

I do tap the F2 key multiple times during the boot but it has no effect and goes straight and very quickly into WIN10.
