Windows 10: Ricoh printer driver always fail to install via Windows Update

I got solution to this Problem :


Try this out :

1. From the Start button, go to the following to initialize the "Add Printer" settings: "Settings" > "Devices" > "Printers & scanners" > "Add printers & scanners" or select "All Apps" > "Windows System" > "Control Panel" > "View devices and printers" > "Add a printer".
2. From "Select a printer", select "The printer that I want isn't listed".
3. Select the connection method in "Find a printer by other options" according to the printer setup wizard. The following is the procedure when "Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings" is selected.
   
   Below is the procedure when "Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings" is selected.
   
   
4. Select a printer port in the "Choose a printer port" dialog.
   1. If an existing port will be used, select it from the "Use an existing port:" dropdown list.
   2. If a new port will be used, choose "Standard TCP/IP Port" from the "Create a new port:" dropdown list. In the "Type a printer hostname or IP address" dialog, enter the hostname or IP address and uncheck "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use".
5. Specify the driver file under the disk1 directory of the downloaded driver folder or by installing the CD-ROM and then click "Have Disk".
6. Select the appropriate manufacturer and printer in the "Install the printer driver" dialog.
7. Enter a printer name in the "Type a printer name" dialog.
8. Select if the printer should be shared with other network users in the "Printer Sharing" dialog.
9. Check "Set as the default printer" in the "You've successfully added [Printer name]" dialog if the printer should be used as the default printer.
10. Check if the printer is working properly by clicking "Print a test page" in the "You've successfully added [Printer name]" dialog.
11. Click "Finish" to complete the driver installation.

Ricoh printer driver always fail to install via Windows Update

This isn't just a Ricoh problem. I'm having the same issue -- except that I don't have a Ricoh printer, have never had a Ricoh printer, and have never installed the drivers on my system. There's no device I can go into under Device Manager to remove
or disable updates. I'm getting bogus errors trying to install drivers I don't need for a device I don't have.

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

After installing windows 10 my Ricoh printer will no longer scan to my computer. It was working fine prior to this update. I already installed new printer drivers to no avail. Ricoh doesn't have any answers. Can you help?
