Windows 10: Right Click and Left Click selection in windows explorer not working - Windows 11 Pro

I'm running Windows 11 Pro and in March updated the system with 2024-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5035853 from 2024-01 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5034204. Since then, when using windows explorer, I have been unable to use the right-click menu. I am able to call up the right click menu but am unable to select anything in it. Additionally I am unable to use the left click function on any of the top menu bars unless the windows explorer window is full screen and even then this is int

Internet Explorer 11 not working on Windows 10

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer
