Windows 10: Right-click on compressed zip folder gets error

I fairly often make zip files that upload to OneDrive thereby allowing me to create a download Share link through the right-click context menu of the compressed zip file.For some reason, I just started getting this error, which is remarkably lacking in helpful information.Other observations that may help deduce what's going on:Older zip files on the same machine DO allow a right-click without errorThis does not appear to be connected to OneDrive. I tried directly on C: and on a NAS. All newly created .zip files get the above error.I improved the situation somewhat by trying the procedure to

This error message pops up when I try to zip a file:

Compressed (zipped) folder error

Unable to complete operation

Access denied

I have tried the two methods suggested on this forum and it still doesn't work. it has worked previously not sure how that changed

Every time I start my computer, I get a box pop up with "Compressed zipped folders error".

I can't work out why as it is on startup so I haven't tried to open or compress any files.

Does this happen with all the files or just one file.

If it happens with all then the zipper has gone bad.

Also you did not mention whether you are using the default windows zip or any other software.

Can you please let me know that?
