Windows 10: Right Shift key for in Remote Desktop client for Android gets stuck

I'm using RD client-android version with bluetooth keyboard.

with G-board keyboard app.

and using Korean keyboard Input on windows 10 home.


there's right shift key stuck problem(it has been a long time ago. many users claim it). left shift key is fine.


reproduce: ('Use scancode input when available' option enabled at android RD client)

Rt.shift [down] -> 'B' key [down] -> Rt.shift [up] -> 'B' key [up]

->then, shift key stuck

* 'B' key is just a example. every letter can reproduce it.


At stuck state If I stoke Lt.shift key, then stuck solved.


If I disable 'Use scancode input when available' option, stuck problem doesn't happened.

but If I disable it, I can't use Korean Input on windows.


I tried several bluetooth keyboards and keyboard apps(android). but every combination It stuck.


fix the notorious Shift key stuck problem please!!

or must use a new one? how create password in Win 10 Pro for remote desktop ?????

 

Shift, CRTL keys no working with Modern Remote Desktop

I was not having this problem at all until the Windows 10 Anniversary Update self-installed on my system. Now I am having similar issues to many above posters with some strange variations:

• Shift and Ctrl keys don't work with the RD client window maximized, Alt key does work (- Shift, - Ctrl, + Alt)
• Shift and Ctrl keys do work when the RD client window isn't maximized, but now the Alt key doesn't work (+ Shift, + Ctrl, - Alt)
• Most bizarrely, if the window isn't maximized, but I drag the side window edges to make the window as wide as possible, it starts to behave as if the window were maximized (- Shift, - Ctrl, +Alt) when both window side edges get close to the side screen
  edges. The same does not happen, however, when I drag the top and bottom window edges up and down, respectively, to make the window as tall as possible.
• In full-screen mode (this is different than a maximized window in that the RD Client title bar and your local desktop's taskbar are hidden, making it appear as though the remote desktop is your local desktop) the Shift, Ctrl, and Alt keys behave the same
  as when the window is maximized (- Shift, - Ctrl, + Alt)
• Holding both shift keys down at once did not work for me in the maximized window, as one previous poster had reported.

I am going to repost this info in a new thread to see if it gets any attention since this thread was marked as answered long ago, so I'm sure no Microsoft people would check it anymore. It is still pretty ridiculous that this issue has persisted so long,
however, since the Anniversary Update began rolling out months ago.

 

Android-to-Windows remote desktop client error

I am trying to use the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client Android app to connect an Android device to a remote server running Windows Server 2008 R2, which has a remote desktop gateway. The app appears to connect to the server and gateway, and an invalid username
& password are rejected, or a valid username and password are accepted. However, after entering a valid username & password, there is an error message "We couldn't connect to the remote PC ... Error code 0x300005d".

I have tried the regular and beta versions of the app on an Android tablet and phone, and the same happens with both apps on both devices.

What does error code 0x300005d indicate?
