Windows 10: Right side of taskbar randomly turns black after moving mouse over it, along with the lock...

Hi. I recently have a problem where the taskbar will turn black at random intervals, and when I start typing my pin on the lock screen, the profile area and the bottom right icons turn black. Does anyone have a fix for this?I have tried:-Reinstalling graphics card,-Running sfc /scannow

How do I move the taskbar icons back to the left?

Kindly follow these steps to return the icons on the left side of the Taskbar:

• Right click on the empty Taskbar and uncheck Lock all taskbars.
• Right click again on empty Taskbar and hover the mouse on Toolbar.
• Click New folder.

To unlock the taskbar

• Right-click an empty space on the taskbar. If Lock the Taskbar has a check mark next to it, the taskbar is locked. You can unlock it by clicking
  Lock the Taskbar, which removes the check mark.

• To lock the taskbar back into place, right-click an empty space on the taskbar, and then click
  Lock the Taskbar so that the check mark appears.
  

To move the taskbar

• Click an empty space on the taskbar, and then hold down the mouse button as you drag the taskbar to one of the four edges of the desktop. When the taskbar is where you want it, release the mouse button.

mouse is not working right


unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.
