Windows 10: Right way to update Store App

Sometimes I find many updatings of Store Apps are left unnoticed.

And it seems the one line command


PowerShell -Command

"Get-CimInstance -Namespace "Root\cimv2\mdm\dmmap"

-ClassName "MDM_EnterpriseModernAppManagement_AppManagement01"

Invoke-CimMethod -MethodName UpdateScanMethod"


triggers updating Store App when setting the "Update apps automatically" as "ON".


But I could not find a relevant document.

Please show me a link to the document.

Windows Store not updating existing apps but successfully downloads new apps

In order to diagnose the issue, we suggest that you try the following methods:

Method 1: Kindly run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.
To run it, follow the steps below:

• Click Start.
• On the search bar, type Troubleshooting, and click on
  Troubleshooting from the results.
• On the left pane, click View all.
• Click Windows Store Apps.

Method 2: We suggest that you manually reset the Windows Store app cache
and then try to update apps again. To manually reset, follow the steps below:

• Click Start.
• On the search bar, type CMD, and right-click CMD
  from the results.
• Click Run as administrator.
• Type wsreset, and press Enter.

Windows Store to Pack "Mature" Games and Apps

They announce this right after they said weren't going to carry any of it... Ya think some investors told them to stfu and take money? *Laugh :laugh:

I wonder how long it will be before you can't install noncertified apps? The app store is the 1st stepping stone. Although, you'd have to be an idiot to give 30% to these clowns.

 

App updates and store

Are there any further updates on this? I still have it in my store app on both desktops, Surface laptop, and 950 XL mobile. As has been suggested by others, I know I can reset my devices and restore with a backup, but that's not a real solution for my four
devices.
