Windows 10: Rip from CD to a thumb drive

Discus and support Rip from CD to a thumb drive in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I can rip the CD, but it won't play in my car.     Rip from CD to a thumb drive


    I can rip the CD, but it won't play in my car. I need to turn off the copy protection feature on the Windows media player so it will play anywhere.

    RIP CDs

    Hi,

    We suggest that you perform these steps and check if the issue persists:

    • Press "Windows" + "E" button on the keyboard.
    • Go to "View > Navigation pane" and select "Show libraries".
    • Now in the navigation pane, right-click on the "Music" library under "Libraries" and select "Delete".
    • Now right-click on the "Libraries" and select "Restore default libraries".
    • Now try to rip.

    As you are facing issues with ripping the pictures from CD to the computer, do let us know the following to assist you better:

    • Are you using Windows Media Player to copy the contents CD on to PC?
    • What exactly happens when you try to rip the pictures on to PC?
    • Are you able to view these pictures from E: drive?
