Ripping my own songs from CD I personally made--not happening anymore.

Up until last night, and for years, I never had a problem ripping original songs, wave files, from my own personally burnt CD's. Now Media Player is not letting me do it with "one or more" songs. No explanation offered. No way to override. No solution offered. No human contact with chat support or phone support to resolve this. MS is too insulated from it's users. Anybody know what's up?

    :)

    RIP CDs

    Hi,

We suggest that you perform these steps and check if the issue persists:

    • Press "Windows" + "E" button on the keyboard.
    • Go to "View > Navigation pane" and select "Show libraries".
    • Now in the navigation pane, right-click on the "Music" library under "Libraries" and select "Delete".
    • Now right-click on the "Libraries" and select "Restore default libraries".
    • Now try to rip.

We also suggest that you refer to this link. Burn and rip CDs.

    Regards.

rip and burn cd's on windows 10

    It will rip CD's.

Insert Music CD, select all songs you want to copy.

Rip CD will now appear - select this.

After all songs have ripped to library, you will NOT just be able to drag them to Burn List as you might think.

Instead, click on Music. You will see a list of all of your music CD's. Scroll to find the CD you just ripped.

Select all songs. From here you will be able to drag to your Burn List. Start Burn.
