Windows 10: Risks of installing windows 11 on unsupported devices?

So as far as I can tell Microsoft says don't install Win11 on unsupported devices because you will not receive updates? But my 10-year-old laptop with Win11 is still receiving Security and cumulative updates?What updates are we getting on Win10 that we are not getting on Win11? I am just trying to understand, the difference in updates we receive on both Operating systems. From what I understand older devices are abandoned by their manufacturers anyways so receiving firmware updates etc from the manufacturer is a no-go.What risks are people be taking for installing on unsupported devices? windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Almost any PC can run Windows 11. I have successfully installed and run it on some really unsuitable devices. I think my record was squeezing it onto a 10 year old Intel Atom powered PC with Legacy bios, no TPM and just 2GB of RAM.

What Microsoft has said is that if you install Windows 11 on an unsupported device then you are on your own, they won't support your PC. They may not even let it download cumulative updates.
