Windows 10: Roaming Folder

I just received my laptop today from a company that replaced the hard drive with an SSD and did a clean install of Windows 10 version 21h2. While trying to move some data and apps to this computer from the spare computer I found that I do mot have a c:\users\username\roaming\ folder. I'm trying to move Thunderbird e-mail data and Google Earth data and they both require the roaming folder. I always thought that this folder was always found in c:\users\username\roaming\.But just in case I uninstalled Thunderbird and Google Earth and reinstalled them in case the folder gets created by one of

I assume you are talking about this folder:

c:\Users\Jianwei\AppData\Roaming

If so then these steps should fix the problem:

1. Mark the code line below, then press Ctrl+C to copy it.
2. Click the Start globe.
3. Press Ctrl+V to paste the code line.
4. Press Enter.

• About the roaming function, do you wish to prevent Windows 10 from storing files on the AppData>Roaming folder?
• If not, do you wish to delete some files on the AppData folder?

AppData/Roaming, folder too large to transfer but it's a must do...

I may be giving the OP more of the benefit of the doubt than he deserves, but he never said it was his "own stuff". Moving a product from one computer to another (or reinstalling the product) when that product has built a large or otherwise difficult to rebuild database in the Roaming folder would be another reason for copying stuff into Roaming. And that might be a lot of data.

But on a laptop with 64 GB eMMC he's not going to put it in AppData (on the C: drive) whether he has a good reason or not. So I hope he returns and gives us enough information to let us offer suggestions.
