Windows 10: Roaming profile exlusions

Hi, on one of the computers in the company in the user's home directory there is a folder ".astfiles" through which roaming profiles can not synchronize properly, as a result of which icons, for example, from the desktop after deletion return. In the registry, I tried to add an entry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NTwindows NT\NCurrent Version\NWinlogon ExcludeProfileDirs ".astfiles;AppData/Local;xxx". AppData is correctly out of sync, and the problematic folder still appears in the event log as 1509. How do I add the entry correctly, or what can I do differently to fix my problem?

Thank you for your response with the current status of the issue.

I suggest you to follow the below steps for disabling roaming profile and check if it helps.

1. Click on Search bar.

2. Then type "Configure advanced user profile" without the quotes in the search bar and click on it.

3. Click on Change type button.

4. Then change to Local profile.

roaming profile very serious issue

hello

i have a serious issue with roaming profile for alot of users

each time they reboot they lost customization of task bar etc... outlook setting etc...

plus all file in the recent list are gone in excel and word etc... they have file listed in december but nothing more recent

they are complaining alot about this

even me if i reboot everything from task bar

i never play with that before so not sure where to start with

they have a message saying

Your roaming profile isn’t completely synchronized with the server
