Windows 10: ROBLOX causes computer to restart every time I play it.

I'm not sure what's causing the issue as I have all my drivers updates to the latest and I've cleaned my computer out. I found something similar to my issue, which had a diagnostics tool that fixed some files in the Windows store, but that only works temporarily. I really want to be able to play this with my friends as they don't play much else. It was fine up until about 6 months ago, so I can only assume that a Windows update broke it. All help is appreciated.

Windows 10 Pro

AMD Athlon 62 x2 6000+

4GB DDR2 RAM @ 376Mhz

NVIDIA GeForce 710

Windows 10 Roblox problem

There are several reasons as to why you can't play Roblox on your computer. Windows Updates may affect the game not to play if your computer is not updated. To make sure that your Windows 10 is up to date, I suggest that you check for any Windows Update
by using this link as your guide.

In addition, make sure that Roblox is allowed to run on your Chrome by performing the following steps:

• Download Roblox and run its setup file.
• After the game has been installed, try to run it.
• You should get a message box saying “External Protocol Request”. Check
  Remember my choice for all links of this type and click Launch Application.

If the issue persists, I suggest that you use another web browser on your computer to check if that helps.

Roblox Installer Not Working

Before we proceed, I need more information to help you better:


•Does this work on previous operating system?


I suggest you to install ROBLOX in a compatibility mode and check, if it helps.

Let's follow these steps below:

a. Download the latest Application from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Right-click on the app setup file and click on ‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.
Once this is done, restart the computer and check, if the issue persists.
