  1. Robocopy error through Task scheduler

When I run the robocopy command through Powershell, it runs successfully but if submitted through task scheduler, it flashes error 'The directory name is invalid', It also does not create the log. Below is the command 'robocopy \\msXXXXXXXX\Y$\AXXXXXX M:\AXXXXXXX SAV21_0.* /E /Z /ZB /MT:16 /COPYRobocopy error through Task scheduler :DATSOU /SECFIX /R:3 /Log:N:\ROBOCOPY\RBOCPY.log. I have masked the server name here for security reasonsRunning this on Win 2016 server

  2. Task Scheduler and Robocopy

    Good morning:

I'm having a very odd issue with Task Scheduler and Robocopy on a Windows Server 2016 machine.

I have script that uses net use to connect to a server on a different domain. I am able to get to that server and go to various folders using the provided credentials with no errors or issues. The script then calls robocopy to copy files and subdirectories to a server on our local domain. I can run this script manually with no problem. When I put it in Task Scheduler and run it from there, the log file keeps giving me this error:

ERROR 1907 (0x00000773) Accessing Source Directory <directory name> The user's password must be changed before signing in.

Neither the user used to run the task nor the user connecting to the other domain are flagged in AD to change their passwords. I can't figure out why I keep getting this message. Again, I can run the script manually with no errors, but when I try to run it using task scheduler I get this error.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer,

    Mary

    Windows 11 Task Scheduler Robocopy

I have a simple batch file with a robocopy command which runs perfectly by itself. The batch file will not run in Task Scheduler. It worked in Windows 10 Task Scheduler but not in Windows 11. All Task Scheduler settings are the same as the one I used in Windows 10. I read something that the issue might be a Window 11 issue. Are there any solutions?

    Task Scheduler Error

When I access Task Scheduler, an error appears that says SqmUpload_S-1-5-21......... no longer exists. To see the current tasks, click Refresh. However, the same message appears when I click Refresh. I can close the message and it appears the Task Scheduler is OK. A person on the Microsoft boards gave me several steps to follow beginning with booting into Safe Mode. However, I received a message when I accessed Task Scheduler that it doesn't function in Safe Mode.
I did not feel safe following their additional suggestions at that point as I am not that adept at such endeavors. Has anyone else encountered this error and/or found a simple solution? I feel it is caused by some remnant leftover from Windows 7 during the upgrade but this is pure conjecture on my behalf.
