Windows 10: robocopy not running

I have just moved from a PC to a desktop. I am using robocopy, via powershell, as a backup but the robocopy command starts and then drops. I have used the robocopy command for several years without a problem on the PC:robocopy C:\Users\Martin\Documents e:\Documents /MIRI have modified for the lap tap to:robocopy C:\Users\admin\OneDrive\Documents D:\Documents /MIRThe powershell screen appears but then closes without doing anything. Is it because I am using OneDrive?

Robocopy - This App Can't run on this PC

Up until last night I was using robocopy to backup my files. This morning, when I try, I get the message "This app can't run on this PC.

I get the same message even when I type robocopy /?

I have re-started the machine and get the same message.

Has anyone any suggestions?

I have Windows10 64-bit on acer PC.

Robocopy hangs, dependant on working directory

According to your description, I knew that there is no log files as you would expect when you copy files with Robocopy, even if you have included the /log parameter. Is that right?



Generally, running Command Prompt requires basic permissions, you can successfully copy the file that means you have sufficient permissions to access (read, write, modify) the source and destination locations and their data, but I still suggest you try run the Command Prompt as an administrator and then Execute the command again.



Then I suggest you redirect the log file to a directory other than the source and destination when you use /log parameter, such as a non-root directory on a non-system partition or the desktop.
