    RODE Procaster - AI-1 - Sounds too low


    Hi,


    I'm trying to use the Procaster mic for voice-over in PowerPoint, but I have to crank the AI-1 and my speakers to the top to hear something at a decent volume.


    The volume mic is already at 100%


    The playback and recording Hz are the same 96000.


    I've tried to download APO Equalizer and Peace Equalizer to boost the mic as it's not possible to do it in the computer's setting only the internal mic can be boosted. Still no change.


    When I test the mic in the Windows setting, it appears very low as well. But I tried to do a game capture, and the sound was loud enough even only cranked at mid-way.


    I even ask RODE support, and no luck there neither.


    PLEASE help me use that supposedly top-quality mic!


    PS. the mic is also normally during video conferences.

    Rode Procaster and Windows 10

    After looking around for a few hours attempting to discover why my Rode Procaster microphone will not work anymore, I concluded that it was because Microsoft has not come out with the necessary drivers in Windows 10 to make it work.

    Is Microsoft currently working on this problem or should I send a request to Microsoft to send me the amount necessary to replace the microphone?

    Hi my name is Ross, I'm an independent advisor. I'd be happy to help with your issue.

    It would be Rode that needs to create the drivers for each version of Windows, I would suggest that you search their support website for the latest version and download those to see if it resolves the issue.

    Rode Procaster and Windows 10

    Microsoft cannot write drivers for hardware it did not build. Only RODE can write drivers for RODE hardware.

    Download the latest software for your RØDECaster Pro.

    Use
    this form     for refund requests from RODE.

    Please note that the RODECaster gets firmware - it does not get drivers.
