Windows 10: ROG Ally Bitlocker - Keyboard Will NOT Enable

I'm trying to boot my Ally in SafeMode in hopes of fixing an issue it's having. After restarting it to give myself the option to enter SafeMode, it requires the BitLocker key a second time; it says "Press Enter to continue". But unlike before the reboot when I am navigating the troubleshooting screens, there is no box to type. Pressing + does not enable the keyboard. My external keyboard does not work. I cannot press enter to continue, and the option times out after a few seconds. Therefore, it is impossible for me to boot my Ally in SafeMode.

How To Fix BitLocker On ROG ALLY

To fix BitLocker on the Asus ROG Ally, your friend can follow these steps:



1. Press and hold the power button on the device until it turns off completely.

2. Press the power button again to turn on the device.

3. When the BitLocker recovery screen appears, press the volume up button to switch to keyboard mode.

4. Press inside the box and a keypad will appear.

5. Enter the recovery key using the keypad.

6. Once the recovery key is entered, the device should unlock and allow access to the operating system.

How To Fix BitLocker On ROG ALLY

My friend recently bought an Asus ROG Ally as of yesterday. When he updated it however, BitLocker said he needed a recovery key to access it. Since ROGs have Windows 11 as an OS, I assumed here would be the place to ask. He can't actually type in the spot where you type in the code so I don't even know if he can use his Asus Ally. How do I help him?
