  1. Roku and Windows 11 computer

I just got a new TV and Microsoft Windows 11 computer. The TV has Roku on it, and I am trying to use the TV with my computer through an HDMI. When I plugged in the HDMI into the TV and computer, Roku is not showing any signal. Do I need an app for this?

  2. Windows 11 won't screen on Roku TV

    Dear Cammie,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community

I understand how challenging it can be when a feature that previously worked without issues suddenly stops functioning. Let's work together to resolve the issue of casting your Windows 11 PC to your Roku TV.

Steps to Troubleshoot and Resolve the Casting Issue:

    1. Reset Network Settings: On your PC, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset. This will remove and then reinstall all your network adapters and set other networking components back to their original settings. Restart your PC afterward.
    2. Change Projection Settings: Press Win + P on your keyboard to open the projection options. Select Duplicate or Extend and see if your Roku TV appears.
    3. Disable and Enable Network Discovery: Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Advanced sharing settings. Turn off network discovery, save changes, and then turn it back on.
    4. Factory Reset Roku TV: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your Roku TV. This will erase all settings and data, so consider this only if other steps fail.
If you've tried all these steps and still cannot cast to your Roku TV, it may be beneficial to reach out to Roku Support for further assistance. They can provide more specialized support for compatibility and connectivity issues with their devices.

I hope these steps help you get back to casting your screen from your Windows 11 PC to your Roku TV. Please let us know if you need further assistance or have any other questions.

    Computer not recognizing Roku TV

    Hello.

I'm trying to set up my Roku for screen sharing, and I am at a loss. If I click Project or Connect, the only thing that pops up is my monitor(?). If I click "Find other types of devices", my mouse and keyboard are listed, all that appears under "Other Devices"
    is my xbox one.

I spent a few hours trying to fix this the other day and I found a page that listed my Roku in some capacity, and now for the death of me, I cannot find it. Nor can I find many other people having this same issue, which makes me believe it's something with
    my PC.

Anyways, wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I have the media sharing option on my Roku turned on, and both my computer and Roku are on the same wifi. Signal is strong on both.

    Thanks for your time

windows 10 dosent conect to Roku 2.

    Hello Duke,

We'd like to know more about your issue. Please answer the following questions below:

    • Are you trying to perform screen mirroring?
    • Did you receive any error messages when trying to connect your PC to Roku 2?
    • Were you able to connect Roku 2 to your PC before?

In the meantime, I suggest that you check if your Windows 10 device supports this function. You can find this information by following the steps below:

    1. Select the Start button, type Connect, and then select
Connect app from the list of results.
    2. In the Connect app, the text will tell you if your Windows 10 device supports it.
