    Rollback to Win 8.1 or 7 corrupts scheduled tasks


    Due to Nitro Reader problem reported in another thread, I rolled back to Win 7. I found none of the scheduled tasks I had created worked. Opening Task Scheduler presented me with 62 error messages indicating my tasks, and many others created by other applications, including Microsoft itself, were corrupt. Fortunately, for me, I was able to recover everything by restoring from a partition backup, and all is now well. But beware of rollback if you don't have a good backup or a System Image.

    Updated to win 10....problems so I reverted back to win 7 ...task scheduler corrupt with multiple errors

    Re updated to win 10 and task scheduler is still giving multiple errors and unable to schedule a shutdown

    Any easy fix?

    Yes, in the end I switched back to Win 7 AND got a new set of problems like corrupted Library definitions, corrupted Task Scheduler tasks etc. So I am not impressed by Microsoft software or the testing that it did for both Win 10 and the Win 10-->7 uninstall.
