  1. Rolling back to 1909

So I did update to Windows 2004. And I've just noticed this recently. When defragmenting my SSD, it will run but later on it will not register. It will show as never run again. So here is what I thought, I have the 2004 update past the 10 day given by windows. I'll try to make a bootable drive and install 1909 in my pc using rufus. Is that possible? I already reported it. Other than that, I have no problems at all.

  2. Rolling back

    hey,

If you are in the 30 day period of installation of Windows 10, you can roll back by the following steps:

    • Open settings
    • Update and Security
    • Recovery
Now select Go back to Windows 7.

The process would take some time and your windows 7 would be restored.

    hope this helps.

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
