Windows 10: Rounded shapes became "square"

This happened on my HP G7 255 Ryzen 3 2200U laptop. When I bought it, Windows 10 1803 was preinstalled on it and everything worked fine on version 1809 too. However, after updating to 1903, many rounded elements of the system interface and some UWP applications became "angular".After that, I tried to reinstall different versions of Windows 10, but on all versions above 1809, this problem appeared after installing all updates and drivers from the manufacturer's website and rebooting. Account image shape. A round (circle) shape image? Who came up with this?

Why would the limitation on the shape of the account image arbitrarily be set to a round shape? I'm sure that some people out there take round photo-shots, however I don't know a single one of them. All of my image files present in a square or rectangular
shape. I like square shapes. Is there something illicitly wrong with my desire to set an image in the shape or profile that I may want to choose. I don't like the points of my Batman helmet cut off, or the points of my Mr. Spock ears bent down to fit in the
round profile I have been forced into. True, as with all Windows and Microsoft products, there are more important things to be concerned about. In the spirit of the anarchy that has always been the two I still want the option and the personal control to express
myself as a square (or star, parallelogram, or whatever geometric shape I fancy) and not to be forced into a single stamped persona that some brilliant mathematician with no artistic soul has selected as the perfect shape.

I am considering the return to XP or Vista... Kidding, but still, Whats up with this?

 

why the weather icon on the left side of the taskbar in Windows 11 is square shaped and not round shaped showing the temperature.

I am running Windows 11 Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.526) . I am seeing the weather widget on the left side of the taskbar as square shaped without any temperature (screenshot enclosed). How can I see the original round shaped yellow icon showing the temperature in centigrade on the left side of the taskbar. Kindly help.

Why it sometimes changes to square shaped box icon without showing temperature (screenshot enclosed) instead of orignal round Sun (at daytime) and half moon (at night) icons with temperature showing . what is the problem inspite of having indefinite internet connection?
