Windows 10: Router's SSID Not Showing Up

Windows 10 available networks does not show the router that is 10' away on my ASUS ROG G751JT. Shows up on my phones, tablets and various other computers. I booted to Ubuntu and it shows fine on the ROG. The SSID was used on a prior router so I deleted the saved network SSID with the previous router, rebooted and the current SSID still does not show up.Ideas? Thanks!

Problem Connecting Multiple Wifi Routers With Same SSID

Hi,

I lives in Pakistan, Here main BroadBand service provider is PTCL. When they install new BroadBand internet connection, they name each router's SSID as "PTCL-BB". Surely, I can change the SSID but as we go to some other place same problem exists. I need
to use some networking manager because Windows 10 trying to connect with my neighbor's router with my router's password. I also need to configure my network manager on each startup.

I need to know is there any way to show "MAC" in network connection wizard instead of "SSID".

Again Please don't suggest me to change SSID of every router, Apologies!

Show SSID instead of IP provider

Hi,

From the issue description, it looks like you have checked the option to "hide SSID" in the router setting. I suggest you try looking for the router's settings and check if you are able to locate the option to unhide it. You can also contact the router manufacturer
for steps on how to achieve this.

Windows 10 SSID not showing up

My WIFI router has 2 speeds and 2 SSIDs but when I look at available networks the hi-speed SSID doesn't appear in the list. Any idea why?
