Windows 10: Row of green dots that color match to my screen

On the top of my screen I have like 15ish rows of horizontal dots that are normally green, but if i pull up anything the dots around that area turn the same color as the thing I just pulled up. I have tried many ways to fix this and none have worked at all. The row is also very glitchy and is normally moving up and down slightly.

Hi,

I have a sony vaio e series laptop with windows 10 installed.

Screen was showing green dots but it was working fine and then i got blue screen few times as soon as logged in.

So i tried to boot in safe mode. In safe mode, also i have green dots on screen and brightness is set to highest.

Now i am not able to diagnose the problem is it with graphics card or with screen. I think problem is with graphics card as green dots are present also while vaio logo is displayed while booting.

Due to lockdown can't get it to service center.

Please help or any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is Wil, one of the independent advisor, an expert with Windows 10 and a fellow Windows 10 user like you. I understand your concern about green dots on your screen.

Most of the articles that you would see on the net would tell you that it is either a monitor screen issue or a video card issue. The green dots actually represent pixels. It is usually red, blue and green and right now those green dots cannot display the other 2 colors that is why you only see green. Since you mentioned that the issue still appears in safe mode, its definitely a video card or screen issue. You may still try to update your graphics card driver or try to roll it back to a previous driver and see if that'll work.

color dots

Hi,I have a radeon x850 pro,after 2 hours game,start to show on screen color dots,even after i closed the game,it show on desktop(less)also,never overclocked,any ideeas?
