Windows 10: RPC error when connecting to network shares with authentication in RE version 10.0.2600.1...

Hello,since upgrading to 24H2 I am no longer able to connect to network locations in RE version 10.0.2600.1 without getting an RPC error. This was tested on a wired connection.The error comes up when using authentication; guest accessed network locations do not experience this issue.To test the problem, I have installed latest Win11 24H2 and latest Win11 23H2 side by side on VMs.After first time login, I restarted the VMs into their RE environments through Settings > System > Recovery > Advanced Startup > Restart Now.When loading RE choose the CMD option and load networking:wpeutil

It seemed that printer update with RPC in Windows 11 Version 22H2 might cause network printers connecting error 0x00000709.

At learn.microsoft.com, I have known that RPC connection updates for print in Windows 11 has been available in Windows 11, version 22H2.

but there are some issues in connecting shared printers which has been connected in Windows 11, version 22H2 operating system and above.

If I use Windows 10 to connect shared printers which connected to Windows 11, version 22H2, the connection will be failed, and returned 0x00000709 error.

also, Windows 11, version 23H2, has this problem too. I can't use Windows 10, version 22H2, or Windows 11, version 23H2 to connect shared printers, which connected to Windows 11, version 22H2, or Windows 11, version 23H2.

Windows 11, version 23H2 cannot connecting other printers, returns 0x0000011b error, it will work normally that after I change Windows registry settings.

because of this, I have to take annoying steps to set the RPC mode back to Using RPC over Named Pipes, then take some RPC settings on client computer, so that I can connect shared printers.

Wish this terrible experience improve quickly.

PC-A, the one directly connected to the printer and sharing it, might not necessarily require these changes unless it also faces similar issues when printing or if it's unable to connect to the printer itself.

In essence, apply the mentioned steps on the PC(s) experiencing the error when trying to connect to the shared printer across the network. The PC directly connected to the printer and sharing it might not need these changes unless it's encountering similar printer connectivity problems.

Cannot access shared network drive

I could scream! so much time wasted on this stupid error, as if time is not precious enough!
It probably would work fine if I could see the other computer! But I cannot see the other computer!
