    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    GPU-Z 0.8.7 crash on launch

W1zzard is asking you to test so that he can suggest next steps and be able to troubleshoot the issue you have.
If another version works, it would be one set of steps.
If several other versions also fail/crash, then it would be another.

Can't connect to vds service due to faulting module

    Hi,

Let us know did you receive any error message?

Ifsutil.dll can be easily infected by virus. Virus and spyware can reset DLL files to download and install malware on the affected machines.

I would suggest you to run Windows Defender and check if it helps.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

If the issue still persists I would suggest that you check the services VDS and ensure that it is functioning. To do so follow the steps below:

      • Tap Windows button+R, in the dialog box type services.msc

      • Locate Virtual Disk, right click on it and select Properties.

      • Here ensure that Startup Type is set to Automatic and Service Status as Start.

      • Then click on the Log on tab and check Allow service to interact with desktop box.

      • Then click on OK.
Hope this information helps let us know if you have any more queries on windows we are glad to help you.

    Thank you.
