Windows 10: RSAT tools not installing on windows 11. Error code = 0x800f0955

For some reason some of my Active directory rsat tools have uninstalled. When i try to install it again via the " optional Features" page i get a " couldn't install " error. When i try to install via powershell i get an " Add-WindowsCapability failed. Error code = 0x800f0955" error. i even tried installing other RSAT tools I don't need to see they would install and they did. for some reason it just wont install certain ones.Things I've tried but did not work:installed via powershellinstalled via optional featuresChanged local group policy to allow optional featuresWin 11 pro build: 21H2 build

RSAT Tools missing

Starting with Windows 10 October 2018 Update, RSAT is included as a set of "Features on Demand" right from Windows 10. Do not download an RSAT package from the Microsoft Download Center. Instead, just go to "Manage optional features" in Settings and click "Add
a feature" to see the list of available RSAT tools. Select and install the specific RSAT tools you need. To see installation progress, click the Back button to view status on the "Manage optional features" page.

Windows Upgrade Error 0x800f0955

I did some further research on myself. I'm pretty sure the problem is related to two log file entries which can be found in the setuperr.log (C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther\).

There are these 2 lines:

Before the first entry, there are only entries minutes before. And after there are only these entries which in my opinion are related to initiating the rollback:

The mentioned Package ("Microsoft-Windows-SNMP-Client....cab") is located there. When I try install it on my current build with DISM (like described here How to Install cumulative updates CAB/.msu Files on Windows 11/10)
I get an message that this package is not suitable for the current build (which does make sense). But the shown error message contains the exact code which I get as failure result -> 0x800f0955.

Interesting is, that this SNMP should be a Windows feature which can be activated/deactivated. There are a lot of tutorials for it. But In my Windows Feature Activation Window, this option is not available (I have Windows Home). I tried to deactivate it
as described here (Windows 10 1809 SNMP adding from the command line ->
here adding is described) with the Remove-WindowsCapability Powershell Command. I don't get any error message. But the Deactivation was not sucessful because the Status is still with "Installed" describe
(when I do a Get-WindowsCapability -Online -Name "SNMP*").

Anybody an idea what could be the problem with the SNMP?

 

Windows 10 Pro RSAT Tools not showing when downloaded

Hey,

I am running Windows 10 Pro (Clean Install)

I have downloaded the RSAT Tools (x64) from Microsoft but in Windows "Turn Features on and off" RSAT doesnt appear to be listed there.

Also on my installed updates it doesnt show as being installed.

I read about having my language to English US which i have set. I still cannot get this to work.

I have activated my Windows 10 Pro license and need to use AD tools for my work.

Any Suggestions?
