Hello everyone!I have some bad issues with Rtkvhd64.sys blue screens after I install NVIDIA GPU Drivers on my Surface Pro 8 with Windows 11 Version 22H2 for my eGPU GTX 1060. I tried to uninstall 22H2 update for win 11 allready and get the 21H2 Version back, but I get the same Rtkvhd64.sys BSOD on 21H2 after Installing the GPU drivers. Does anyone have the same issues and could help me in this matter?Great thanks in advance!Best regards,Lukasz Klinger***** moved from german to english Community *****

  2. GPU driver updated, overriding nVidia driver, resulting in dxgmm2.sys BSoD

I updated to Windows 10 Pro. I installed the latest nVidia driver and everything was working fine.

The next day, I get an alert saying gpu driver was updated. I think that is odd. Then a few hours later, while playing a game, I get the BSoD saying dxgmm2.sys crashed.

A potential WORKAROUND is "rolling" back the driver (how cute engineers).

We need a permanent solution. Windows does not have any business updating drivers for discrete gpus made by other companies. These companies release their own drivers.

Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

Its working fine with windows 8.1 64bit . Dont need enable driver enforce when you restart computer.

    Step 1 : Copy file RTKVHD64.sys ( Driver mod ) to folder Vista64 in orginal driver .
Step 2 : Enable Driver Signature Enforcement
    Step 3 : Setup Driver from step 1 , Dont Restart .
    Step 4 : Turn on DTS 5.1 format .
Step 5 ; Disable Driver Realtek in Driver manager
    Step 6 : Copy file RTKVHD64.sys ( original Driver ) in Vista 64 (Original Driver ) to C:\system 32\Drivers
Step 7 : Restart computer then enable driver realtek in Driver manager .
DTS 5.1 disappear in format sounds but it still working . You dont need change format sound.

BSOD on Windows 11 on Surface Pro 8 (0x0000001a)

    Hi Charly,

Thank you for posting in this community. I understand you're having issues with the Surface Pro 8 blue screen. In order to give you a clear and accurate solutions, we’d like to know the detail about this issue:

May I ask if an error will be reported when you open all the listed software or only one software will be opened, such as Citrix Workspaceapp?

We can try the following steps first:

    • perform a clean boot

Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem.

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get you back on track.
    • Surface Pro 8 Drivers and Firmware download

Downloading the latest drivers can sometimes solve some problems.
You mentioned that you have collected blue screen logs, you can click here to see your dump sent to me for my analysis.

We have to go through a series of steps to find the real cause of the problem. If the above steps don't solve your problem, let me know and I will continue to help you with the problem.

Hope you are keeping safe and well.

    Best Regards
