Missing Apps list on desktop when pressing down on Windows Drop Down Menu.

Apps list no longer showing when I click on Windows dropdown selection. Just happened. Have had Windows 10 since it made it's debut.

Is it possible that Google and Microsoft will merge, or at least allow a single login? Most of my personal preferences are stored and recognized well in the Google eco-system, because I use Android, Google Drive, Gmail, YouTube, etc..

Now, with Windows10, Microsoft seems to want to do the same by constructing a profile by gathering info on my reading habits, likes, etc.. I allow some personal info gathering, but refuse to set up Cortana, Windows Store, etc.., because they require that I set up a User ID/Password. Not going to do it.

It would be nice if Google and Microsoft collaborated to allow each company's users to have a single universal UserName/Password to access all features offered by both companies.
