Windows 10: Run as different user asks for email address. How can I change to ask for Username

Environment: I built an Azure Virtual Desktop host pool and joined the sessions host to Entra ID and Intune. The user accounts are on-prem AD accounts synced into Azure with AD Connect. I am able to log into the Entra ID joined session hosts successfully with my AD domain user account since it is synced into Azure.Issue: On the desktop, Run as different user shows email address instead of username. I need to be able to open certain app as a different AD user account. We have Entra ID joined laptops that are also registered in Intune. On the laptops, when I select Run as a different user, I get

Run as different user asks for email

Previously Run as different user asked for account name as it can be seen on the screenshot below:





Now, I have only option for entering email address instead of account name:





Use different account doesn't do anything.

Is there any option for entering account name instead of email address?

 

Win 10:Local Acc cant log in cuz its asking for email address


I have Windows 10 Home. I resetted my password through CMD in the way of the built-in Admin account. Made a new password for my User. And now when i try to login its asking for my email address instead of my username. This account is not a Microsoft account and never was. I can log into safe mode but there is not much i can do there. How can i make the login window ask for my username and not my email address.
I am well verse in regedit and gpedit.
Please help
