"Run as different user" option does not appear when calling Extended Context Menu using...

    Hello everyone,

Recently I have upgraded Windows 10 on my workstation to 1909 version. After that I have encountered a troubling behavior which impairs my user experience.

For some reason after an update to the reported above version I no longer see an option "Run as different user" in my context menu, which I used to call by holding left Shift key and right-clicking on the shortcut or on the .exe file from the folder directly e.g when I want to use WA using another user from domain for SQL Server Management Studio client for SQL Server.

Before the update I had no issues with that. Left-Shift+Right-click on the SSMS link always had "Run as different user" option. Now this option is gone.

Moreover, ctrl+left Shift + N key no longer opens an Incognito tab in my Google Chrome browser. The right Shift key is working fine.

To make matters worse, sometimes left-alt+left-shift does not switch me between 2 languages I am using. Sometimes switch is successful, but more frequently left-alt switches me to the control tab of apps I'm using Chrome, Slack etc.

From the hardware perspective, my left-shift key is working fine I can easily type CAPITALS by holding EITHER LEFT or RIGHT shift keys.

However, using left shift key for other tasks I have mentioned above is not working properly.

    Please help me troubleshoot this.

    :)

  2. Custom context menu entries

So, just throwing this out there, in case somone knows.

I have added a custom context menu entry for the program rightload, since by default the menu is broken in vistax64.

It works pefect with single files, but when I select mutiple files and try to open, I get mutiple instances of the program (which makes sense), here is my entry:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Rightload\Rightload.exe --server=1 --autostart %1

So the %1 passes the filename to the program, and when I select multiple files it is just opening multiple instances of rightload each with a different file.

What I'd like to do is be able to pass a list of the files selected to the program. Since I know it is capable of uploading multiple files from the context menu, all in one instance.

So, is there something I can pass besides %1 that will do this? I have looked around and can't seem to find an answer anywhere... *Frown "Run as different user" option does not appear when calling Extended Context Menu using... :(

  4. "Run as different user" option does not appear when calling Extended Context Menu using...

    Different colors of context menus???

Almost everyone have windows 10 now right? Well when I use an OS, I look at even the slightest thing that bugs me. Windows 10 is full of 'em. Most importantly the GUI. I'n the long list of GUI problems, I would like to add another one from me. "Run as different user" option does not appear when calling Extended Context Menu using... :)

You see different places on windows OS have different color of context menu. Literally, distinguishable colors. When you click on desktop, explorer, taskbar, Edge, title bar icons, the list goes on. The thing Which bugs me the most is the black scheme of
the taskbar context menu. It does not even changes when we select light mode. I have uploaded an image. Well to my surprise I discovered I'm not the only one! there is actually a web site siting the

    problem
    .

What do you guys think? Is my opinion utter nonsense? Or it bugs you too ;P
