'Run as different user' shortcut that doesnt use \system32\runas.exe?

Basically I'm trying to run a program as another local user which saves a file on exit in the same directory as the program exe. It works fine using Shift+RMB to run as different user and closing the program but if I try to create a shortcut using runas.exe, when I close the file, it tells me:

Access to the path 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\settings.json' is denied

Is there another way of creating a shortcut to run as a different user or a way around this problem?

runas command for username with spaces

    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make a shortcut open with a different user automatically (without having to hold shift and clicking open with different user), and I read that I could right click on the shortcut, click Properties, and under Shortcut, in the Target section,
    append in the beginning:

runas /user:USERNAME but my username includes a space in between it. I've tried using double quotes, single quotes, \, %20, and none I've tried seem to work. Is there an easy solution to this?

I've noticed whenever I run the command, it also changes the Target location from Client to System32, and appends C:\Windows\System32\ before runas and adds an .exe after runas (ex: C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /user:USERNAME "C:\Program Files (x86)\program\program.exe"
and it also gets rid of /home at the end of the Target.

    Is that normal?

Lastly, if a path has something such as C:\Program Files (x86)\program\program.exe, which I assume is shared between all users, how can Windows tell that the program.exe should be run differently for each user (unique data/login information)?

    Thanks!

Runas not working properly in Windows 10

I use desktop shortcuts with "runas" commands to run some tasks that required Domain Admin and/or local admin rights (The Domain Admin is in the local administrators group). But these shortcuts no longer work since upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7.

If in a cmd window I type "runas /?" one of the examples given is:

    runas /profile /env /user:mydomain\admin "mmc %windir%\system32\dsa.msc"

If you try this from a command prompt after substituting your domain & user, you will find it fails with a message "Requires elevation". I'm not sure how much more elevation beyond Domain Admin it thinks you need!!

If you navigate to the Windows System32 folder, hold down the shift key & right click mmc.exe you can select Run as a Different user, enter the domain, Username and password and the elevated mmc works just fine.

I will have to work this way for now but it is such a pain to have to enter the domain & username every time. Some of these commands are called many tens of times every day. I can accept having to type the password every time, I wouldn't have it any other
way. But right click, runas, enter domain\user password is a royal pain!

Is there a way around this?

'Run as different user' shortcut that doesnt use \system32\runas.exe?

ad blocker doesnt run for my website shortcuts

first off, im using IE11, yes I know boo hiss its the devil, its too unsafe, but anyway....

I have adblocker and I cant find any reports on this issue but if I open the browser with the browser link adblock runs and its protected, but lets say I have a desktop shortcut to go to my email or here, well when you use a desktop shortcut to the websites, the browser opens without adblock running. I confirmed this in task manager that it is indeed still off and not a running process. I also noted that adblock is not listed in the services list but im not sure if it should be or not.

so any help or advice on this would be great, I use desktop shortcuts for stuff and this means adblocker isn't running for nearly half of my online activities, maybe more. if it cant run anytime the browser is open then why have it, I see nothing in the way of settings or preferences options except a website block list or allow ads for this site.
