Windows 10: Running Excel 2007 in Windows 10

Discus and support Running Excel 2007 in Windows 10 in Microsoft Office and 365 to solve the problem; So it looks like it maybe that Windows 10 doesn't seem to like two versions of Office running, so perhaps I should remove Office 365 which is a trial...     So it looks like it maybe that Windows 10 doesn't seem to like two versions of Office running, so perhaps I should remove Office 365 which is a trial supplied by Dell with the PC.

    I assume I can download and install another trial version at a later date if I want to.

    Or perhaps buy Microsoft Home & Student 2016 which as I uderstand has the same Excel & Word 2016 as in Office 365 but no Outlook which I never use anyway.

    I think I will run with both for a while with all the hassle it is causing to help decide which way to go.

    Office 365 is the name of the MS subscription scheme not an Office version. If you subscribe to Office 365 then you will get the latest version of Office which is 2016.

    You could choose to buy Office 2016 instead but you would have no entitlement to an upgrade to Office 2017/8/9 in the fullness of time whereas with Office 365 you would.
