  1. Running in Safe Mode and I am the owner of file, but still getting denied access to file!

OK, I have done my homework or research or whatever you want to call it and I cannot find an answer to my problem.

I am currently running in safe mode with networking, and I stll cannot access a file which shows my account as the owner of the file. I was already the owner of the file and did not have to take ownership. Any suggestions would be wonderful. I am running Windows 10 Build 18305.rs_prerelease.181213-2133.

Again, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    :)

  2. Denied access to a file despite being listed as the owner

I tried to reinstall Origin, and this particular program, and it seems some others on the computer do not allow access at all, either to run or delete. It says access is denied or that permission will be needed. I go into the advanced settings to change
the owner (as elswhere the troubleshooters suggested) and I see that Administrators is already listed as the owner. It's as though the administrator does not even have access to the file. This appears to apply to the entire folder. How can I change the
permission to the file(s) so I can delete/reinstall?

    Denied Access to delete files

Thanks for suggestions. I tried AVG Remover but it found nothing; probably because I had already deleted the bulk of the files. I also tried Command and Safe Mode but both gave Denied message. So the question remains how do I get access to delete files? Would changing to MS login at Start help?
