Windows 10: Running into problems recovering windows on my laptop

I have been trying to upgrade my Razer blade 15's SSD, I created the recovery drive on a USB and booted the laptop from it but when I select "recover from a drive" and then "just remove my files," like in the guides I have looked up, it tells me "there was a problem recovering your pc."

• Select Troubleshooting from the results.
• Under System and Security, select Fix Problems with Windows Update.
