Windows 10: Running Microsoft Flight Simulator Deluxe Edition on Windows 10

Hi


I used to be able to run ms flight simulator Deluxe with Acceleration prior, I think, to updating to windows 10. Not used it for a while but wanted to use it again.


The programme icon is still on my desktop but clicking it will not open the programme. Also it does not appear in the schedule of programmes in Control Panel or the Start list.


Read about using compatibility but this option does not come up when one right clicks the desktop icon.


I think the software is the XP and Vista version.


Have not yet tried to reload the programme (still have the disks and the code) and seek some advice before trying that.

Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Delux Edition

I Just installed my Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Deluxe Edition in an alienware 17R, which I am having problems running this programs seems like my laptop does not have good graphics, Some already told to see if I have the last version DirectX and I
have it update and also I did right click in the program and I went to troubleshoot compatibility, but it DID NOT HELP NOTHING, I am still having this FU problem, and know I have the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and this program is running without any problem
older than the FsX, which is wear because some experts told me that Fs2004 wont run in windows10, AND I WANT TO USE THE FLIGHT SIMULATOR X NOT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2004, please any help

I cannot get Flight Simulator X Deluxe Edition to install! keep getting 1628 error message - it installed OK in Windows 8.1
