    I'm running a node.js application and I installed nodemon.


    Unfortunately, I installed it from the CMD on Windows I keep having problems installing new packages from VS, as it doesn't update the PATH. So once I installed it from CMD, I run a command using nodemom, then Windows asked me what tool to use. I had a few choices, among them VS, but I pressed Windows Bash Script...since then even though I run nodemom from VS terminal, I got the same error as attached again ang again.


    I have tried to disable WBS, but I didnt find the exact Enable/Disable settings in the registry.

    I have checked the PATH and seems correct both on the user and system env variables are pointing to: ...npm\node_modules\nodemon\bin\



    What else can I do?

    opening .js file in CMD runs windows script host

    I am installing ffmpeg for node.js.
    When i run ffmpeg by the following command in CMD; ffmpeg -codecs
    It opens a .js file with windows script host instead of CMD.

    This is because i accidentally pressed windows script host as standard program for .js files.

    I am running this on windows 10 and i cannot find a way to reverse my actions..
    i have tried select CMD as standard program for opening javascript files but this didnt work. It gave me an error that this file type could not be associated with the program chosen.

    I dont know what to do.

    I am running Windows 7 professional on an older HP desktop. I loaded Firefox, and Java Script. Can't get rid of a pop up.
