Running Window10. My HP printer 3830 will copy in color but will not print from a file, only in black and white.

HP 3830 - Color Printing

I have a HP 3830 and it stopped printing in color. It will print the text page in color but not anything else. This seems to be a major defect in this model why doesn't HP have a solution. I tried all the other solutions but they do not work. Do I have
to trash this printer and buy a different brand. There are a lot of people with the same problem.

Printing in Color from a Word document on HP Office Jet 3830

Good day AuntieMims! I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. I understand that you are unable to print a document that has a color from your HP OfficeJet 3830. Kindly check and try steps below and see how it goes.

- Open the Word document

- Click on File and then click on Print

- Under the Printer, ensure that the printer that you are using is the one selected

"If the printer you've chosen under Printer supports color, black and white, and grayscale printing options, the options will appear in the list under Settings"

- Under Settings, choose the color printing option and any other options you want and select the Print button
