Windows 10: Running Windows 7 64 Bit Version, Program trying to install says it isn't compatible with...

This program is a program I have installed before, everytime there is an update, the program is downloaded, executed and it updates the program already installed on my system. Now, all of a sudden, when executed, it says, "This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running". My version of Windows 7 is 64 bit, the program is 64 bit. I've had no issues in the past running this update program, however, the last 3 updates are now displaying this message.?!any help is appreciated.

• What other troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
  

If you're still trying to install the programs, we suggest changing the compatibility mode of the installers before installing the programs. Follow the steps below:

• Right-click AOL Desktop installer or Facebook Gameroom.
  
• Select Properties.
  
• Go to Compatibility tab.
  
• Check the box for Run this program in compatibility mode for.
  
• Click the drop-down option and select any Windows previous version.
  
• Check Run this program as an administrator.
  
• Click Apply, then OK.
  
• Try to install the program using the installer.

Windows 7 Versions

Can somebody help me really quick? I'm trying to install Windows 7 64 bit on a Vista 32 system, and when I put the CD in it says

"This installation disc isn't compatible with your version of Windows. To upgrade, you need the correct installation disc. For more info, check your computer's system information. To install a new copy of Windows, restart (Boot) your computer using the installation disc, and then select Custom (advanced)"

Windows 7 came with two discs, do I need to put the 32-bit software disc in to upgrade it to 64 bit? It's saying I can't use the 64 bit disc.

 

Windows 7 64-bit

So, I was really excited to find out my college was selling Windows 7 for $20! However, they only offer 32-bit *Bang Head :banghead:. Have many of you tried the 64-bit version? I plan on upgrading my RAM in the future, but of course that would be pointless if I only have 32-bit. If 64-bit is great and you all haven't run into many compatibility issues, I will save the extra money and get the 64-bit version.
