Windows 10: S.M.A.R.T Status bad

Discus and support S.M.A.R.T Status bad in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I have problems starting my computer with F1.     S.M.A.R.T Status bad


    I have problems starting my computer with F1. It worked before but now it goes from restart to restart, then attempts automatic repair which fails. I,ve tried starting with a systems repair disk which also didnt work.

    What else can I do, or has my ASUS X53E laptop just died? It came with Windows 7 premium preinstalled, then upgraded to Win 10. Problem started in May following an automatic MS update.

    4k to 92k in bad sectors & cloning drive


    No need for /r afterwards, you've already done one. The documentation says ".../b includes the functionality of /r..." - it's the same as doing /r but with the additional step of clearing the bad block list before it starts.

    Not sure what I'm looking at. Though when I do go to Options and then CPU it lists my CPU
    as Intel Pentium M processor 1.73 GHz, and then under that it lists speed: 799.9 MHz
    and then features and cache size.I ran the benchmark test and don't understand all
    those numbers, but while testing I checked CPUZ and it still says it is running at 800 MHz.
