Windows 10: S mode wont turn off

I just got a new laptop and it has windows 11 and S mode wont turn off for some reason. I tried factory reseting, i tried the UEFI firmware stuff where you turn off fast boot and secure boot and it still says that there was a mistake and it failed to start the upgrade. I am hopeless and i just want to play minecraft on my laptop. Please help.

My hp laptop wont turn on

This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
• This should clear the flea power

Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

Hi Roice,

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.
