Safe Boot Not Working - DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG BSOD

My laptop has been stuck rebooting for hours now. I tried to get into safe boot, but after a few minutes of showing “preparing automatic repair” text under the Dell logo it goes to BSOD with the stop code DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG. I previously ran diagnostics for all my hardware and all tests passed. Not sure what to do now to try to fix this although I do suspect this is a software issue. I have a Dell Inspiron 5425 with AMD Ryzen 7 CPU with Windows 11.

  2. ughhh! BSOD on boot

I guess my computer BSOD on boot right before getting to windows. not sure what the problem is though, everything is stable.

It gave me a list of two files in windows that could have caused the problems

  3. Windows 10 is unstable, frequent BSOD, but works in Safe Mode

    (1) Your error looks a lot like what Patrick Barker addressed in here...

    Redirecting

    BSOD: Stop 0x0000009C

Since yours, too, is an ASUS, try what he said regarding "Asus' AI Suite, AI Charger software, etc.". He said, "remove
    it ASAP".

    (2) Since the computer is good in Safe Mode, the next step is to see whether it will work in a clean boot...

That isn't tough to set up. If the computer works well in a clean boot, try the detective work the article suggests to discover the culprit startup app or process.

Driver_pnp_watchdog error on clean install of windows 10

I installed a new nvme ssd in my computer and I'm trying to reinstall windows 10. I currently have linux mint installed and now trying to dual boot windows.

I used the media creation tool from MS to create a bootable USB drive. When I boot from the USB drive, I get the typical startup screen "republic of gamers" (it's an Asus thing) and the spinning dots. That goes for 10 minutes or so and then I get BSOD
with driver_pnp_watchdog as the error code.

And I'm kind of stuck. I can't boot into any kind of safe mode or existing install on this computer. I just put the USB drive in, turn the computer on, and get BSOD... No menus, no options, nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
