Windows 10: safe mode no network connectivity

I tried to upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 64x and it crashes immediately once the desktop comes up. I get the SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED error which I have yet to find a fix for that works. I assume it is my graphics card driver so I have uninstalled those and need to get to Windows Update to run all the updates possible before installing the new driver. It won't install otherwise and EVGA told me to do Windows Update first. So I am trying to use msconfig to change the safe boot with networking. I can change the settings and select the Safe and Networking button, click apply and restart but when it restarts in safe mode there is no network connectivity. Any idea how to fix that?

FYI: I am hard wired via ethernet and the adaptor shows up and shows data being transfered, just no connectivity.

Update issues

In Safe Mode with Networking. The only reason it would connect to Safe Mode but not Safe Mode with Networking is if it is your wireless driver or device causing the issue.

You will see Safe Mode with Networking on the same menu where you chose Safe Mode.

 

Windows 10 no internet connection in safe mode with networking.

Hello. I have windows 10 installed on my pc. For some reasons I need to boot in to safe mode and have internet connection for troubleshooting, that means that is safe mode with networking. However, when I boot in to safe mode with networking, there is
an option to press for it, I all the time booting in to safe mode, but without internet connection. I can not make windows 10 to boot in to safe mode with networking and connect to internet. When I look in to network properties or want to setup internet connection
software shows that there no any hardware exist, but in adapter settings there is a WiFi card present that I use to connect internet. Any one know how to fix this bug and have to connect in safe mode with networking pc? Thank you.
