Discus and support safe senders in hotmail suddenly stopped working thanksgiving eve 2022 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have used the only trust safe senders option in hotmail to limit emails from only those in my contacts; everything else goes to junk mail.     I have used the only trust safe senders option in hotmail to limit emails from only those in my contacts; everything else goes to junk mail. Suddenly on thanksgiving eve 2022 this stopped working and my inbox is flooded with junk mail. I changed nothing. It is on microsoft's end.

    The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).

    Adding a safe sender to Outlook

    I am running the free Outlook and a friend whose mail always came to my inbox had suddenly been starting to be dumped in Junk mail.

    I have been through all the settings yet cannot get that person added to my list of safe senders - any ideas please greatly appreciated.

    WLM Safe senders list

    I use WLM and have a security setting that supposedly only allows emails from my Safe Senders List. But it isn't working properly because emails from a couple of US websites that are not listed in my Safe Senders List are still able to have their email
    downloaded - eg L: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** L: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and
    L: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** are 3 of the in the last 2 days. . I don't open them and just delete them but how do I stop them by-passing my settings please?
