Windows 10: Safe to use chkdsk on MicroSD card?

Hi! While making a complete "from scratch" backup of my expensive 400 GB Micro SD card, I just received an error for two files: --------------------------- Synchredible: synchredible.exe - Corrupt File --------------------------- The file or directory [full file path here] is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- Copying the 2 files off the MicroSD card (attached through a USB adapter) via regular drag'n'drop yields the error: An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem. Error 0x80070570: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. The files themselves are unimportant, and it was only those two out of all of them, but I want to make sure this isn't showing a larger issue, especially after recent water damage to my phone. (The repair shop said the Micro SD card was unaffected though, and my Android phone still managed to shut down normally too. Even still seems to work, for now at least. ...I'm pretty sure at least one of the two files was already unable to play before this, I just didn't realize it was "corrupted".) Since programs like Crystal Disk Info don't seem to work on analyzing Micro SD cards, I guess my only course of action is performing chkdsk. A quick google search reveals plenty of instances of chkdsk being run on SD cards - but I can't see anything mentioned about Micro SD cards. Question: Is it "safe" to run chkdsk on a Micro SD card? Or is there any reason I shouldn't do that?

Music Sync with microsd card

I am having all kinds of problems using my microsd card to sync music. I have a Lumia 822. I can sync music to my phone without issue. But, if I try to sync music to my microsd card, I get duplicate listings of songs. And, every time I try to re-sync,
the song is listed again. This doesn't happen for every song, but for many. I have tried two different microsd cards - one is 32g and the other 64. Same problem for both. Any suggestions?

1. Insert the MicroSD card to the card reader
2. Save your files to card
