Windows 10: safely remove hardware and eject media always present in task bar even no hardware connected!!

Good morning
new issue after i format my lenovo G580 laptop and convert my hard disk from GPT to MBR and install a fresh windows 10 single language 64 bit
the issue is the icon of " safely remove hardware and eject media " always present in notification area even no usb device or any thing connected
i think after the modification i do to my hard drive make the windows deal with my hard or one of it is partition as usb devices
can i find a solution for this ..

Safely remove hardware and eject media" - lost icon in task bar

I have lost my icon for "Windows Explorer - safely remove hardware and eject media" in the task bar of my PC. Can anyone suggest how I can get it back? I'm using Windows 10. thanks

 

Missing Eject in "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" List

I use to be able to eject my USB drive via "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" with list as below:

- Open Devices and Printers
- Eject Data Traveler 111
- USB Drive (D
- Eject My Passport Ultra
- My Passport (E

However recently the "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" list seems corrupted and shows:

- Open Devices and Printers
- USB Drive (D

- My Passport (E

with { - USB Drive (D } and { - My Passport (E } are grayed out.

Currently the only way for me is go to file explorer and right click the removable drive and click Eject.

Please help!

 

Safely remove hardware and eject media" - lost icon in task bar

I have checked this and the icon is set to ON. However there is no picture in the grey box representing the icon for "safely remove hardware and eject media". I think that's why nothing displays in the task bar - the icon has somehow lost its picture.
I don't remember when this happened. I only know it used to display a picture and now it doesn't.
